Odd Pictures from reception

On Saturday I went to my youngest cousins wedding, and something weird happened as I was taking pictures of the wedding cake.

The first is the first picture I took of the cake.
Before I continue let me explain what the room was like.
It was a fairly large room, the lighting was a bit dim, but the corner with the cake was comparably bright. There were large mirrors on the walls, but not immediatly in the corner with the cake. And besides a few dim lights in the ceiling, most of the lights were on the wall. (I don't remember what they are called.)

I remember when I lining up he picture, looking around to see if there was anyone walking up or wanting to see the cake, and there was not. The nearest table was at least a good 8 or 10 feet away.



In the lower right side of the picture just to the left of the cake cutting knives is a faint shadow. Because I dont exactly trust the tiny viewer on my camera, I always take more than one picture, here is the second, taken less than a minute later.



Now there is a very noticable shadow. It looks as if someone's hand is up and blocking the light and casting a shadow. The problem with that is the light above the cake was right over the cake, and the lights along the walls would not have cast a shadow like that. Also the shadow has a bit of a red tinge to it.
And finally...



This is the last picture. All three of the pictures were taken in a span of three minutes.

I have gotten no where figuring this out.

Weird.
