CoS claim Anonymous is a terrorist group

Church of Scientology (CoS) has posted a video where it makes the claim it has been the target of thousands of threatening emails, faxes and several bomb threats.

Here is my opinion about this video. First, I don't doubt that CoS has been bombarded by emails, faxes and Denial of Service (DOS) attacks. Several CoS and affiliated web sites were targeted and even some CoS documents were accessed and given to the world to read.

Given CoS behavior in the past and their stated goal of using any means to destroy anyone who challenges CoS. While they have officially revoked the "Fair Game" policy, to "officially" not follow a policy and to actually not follow it are not the same! "Fair Game" is still in use, but in typical revisionist fashion it has probably just been renamed!

When I saw the CoS sympathy video my first impression was of distrust. I honestly think it is a very real possibility that CoS is lying about certain aspects of these threats! Given that CoS is having it's secrets released to the world, there have been protests at their offices all over the world, and CoS's truthful behavior in the past, is it possible that CoS is looking for sympathy? Not sympathy for them, but looking to get public opinion to turn on Anonymous.

Anonymous protests here in Philadelphia have been a spectacular success. Both February 10th and March 15th looked like parties! I think the Feb. 10th event caught them a little by surprise. But the Mar. 15th protest scared them! The CoS offices were closed and there was more attention on the street.

Why do they all look so unhappy? It was a party, and they all look so serious, get a life people. Oh, sorry, they have the weight of the world on their collective backs. They know the secrets to save the world, they just won't tell you unless you give them many thousands of dollars!

Also, how they are dressed, they are all the same, except for the loud ties! And they all look so serous, they scare me! Kidding about scaring me, sour faced people who believe in aliens and the psychotic ramblings of a semi successful and dead sci-fi writer don't scare me.

So, great job to Anonymous Philadelphia. Your getting their attention, keep up the pressure.
