1st Anniversary of Anti-Gala

I am sitting here watching Top Gear and the date was nagging at me. I have been busy, I was actually working with power tools today and not a single injury which amazes me. But I realized it is the the first anniversary of the Anti-Gala.

In earlier posts I have explained the Anti-Gala. and I just couldn't resist one last post.

When I sent the email that started the whole thing rolling down the hill, I forgot about it until I started hearing people talking. I only sent the email to maybe a dozen people, but it wasn't long before it was forwarded and forwarded again appearently.

When the Anti-Gala took on a life of it's own was not a bad time for me, but Dave was taking a lot of heat over it. I put Dave through quite a bit for the Anti-Gala and the notorious "2015 story". Everyone assumed he did them, and with my eternal thanks he took the heat. I did fess up to Colonel Chapman about the 2015 story. And even though it was common knowledge in maintenance I started the Anti-Gala, the higher-ups in maintenance did a good job of keeping things quiet. 

But I have 12 minutes before this day is over. And there was a speech that was supposed to be made at the Anti-Gala and I really want to hear it, you know who you are!
